Job Responsibilities

    Back of House
            Cooking and Meal Preparation – e.g frying puff puff / making and wrapping Pounded Yam
            Perform cleaning tasks as directed by the manager or supervisor: wash crockery, cutlery,
    cooking and serving utensils and kitchen equipment, clean floors, walls and surfaces in the
    kitchen and dining area
            Replenishing the food into the Bain Marie
            Check catering orders at the beginning of the shift

    Front of House
            Maintain a fast speed of service, especially during peak times
            Take orders from customers and input their selections into the till
            Assist with the setting up of the service counter and dishing food into the Bain Marie
            Ensure catering orders are delivered appropriately

    General
            Follow all restaurant safety and security procedures (opening and closing checks)
            Arrive on time for all shifts and stay until shift completion
            Respond to customer queries, concerns and complaints and make sure they leave satisfied and
    make reports to the manager at the end of the shift

      We are looking for a resourceful Restaurant Team Leader. Responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

        Responsibilities
                Coordinate the entire restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house
                Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
                Respond efficiently to customer complaints
                Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible
                Organize and supervise shifts
                Track compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations
                Control costs and cut waste
                Successfully promote and publicize the brand
                Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example as restaurant supervisor

        Requirements
              Proven working experience as a restaurant  manager or team leader
               Demonstrated career experience in customer service management

        Position: Food, Health & Safety Worker
        Location: Head Office (Belvedere)

        Role Description

        Tasty African Foods is a fast growing African Food and Catering establishment with a current portfolio of 8 Branches across London. Due to this growth we are looking for a Food, Health & Safety Worker to work across our 8 branches as well as potential new branches opening. Based out of the head office in Belvedere in South East London the successful candidate will hold responsibility for the following:

        • Maintaining date coding equipment, checking chemicals standards within food areas and assisting with microbiological sampling.
        • Using keen eye for detail, conduct regular audits of all food-related areas, ensuring they are in line with current legislative requirements and best practice.
        • Keeping up with all relevant changes in the food safety and hygiene field and advising the business of any necessary changes in a timely manner.
        • Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure that all Food Safety, Health & Safety policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
        • Keeping and maintaining records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements, including records of incidents and accidents
        • Conducting investigations and ensuring necessary actions are taken and communicated for safety compliance matters including customer complaints, accidents, and risk assessments.
        • Managing the food safety systems, amend and improve with changing legislation to ensure compliance.

        Who we are looking for:

        The ideal successful candidate would encompass the following:

        • Proven track record of working within the food retail or food manufacturing industry
        • Happy to travel to our sites throughout London and the surrounding areas
        • Be passionate about providing the highest level of Health & Food Safety standard.
        • Be an effective team player, but equally comfortable working with a degree of autonomy.
        • Understand the importance of good record-keeping, including due diligence records.Essentials of Food Hygiene documents and allegy records.
        • Be familiar with Microsoft Office.
        • Be proactive and dedicated to work.
