Job brief
We are looking for a resourceful Restaurant Manager. Restaurant manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
 
Responsibilities
·        Coordinate the entire restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house
·        Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
·        Respond efficiently to customer complaints
·        Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible
·        Organize and supervise shifts 
·        Track compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations
·        Control costs and cut waste
·        Successfully promote and publicize the brand
·        Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example as restaurant supervisor

Requirements
·        Proven working experience as restaurant manager or restaurant general manager
·        Demonstrated career experience in customer service management
·        Extensive food and beverage knowledge
·        Proficiency in English
·        Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software
·        Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
·        Acute financial management skills
·        Culinary school diploma or basic degree in Business Administration

Role Description

A fantastic opportunity has risen in our establishment for the post of Finance Manager following an on-going restructuring and expansion.
The Financial Manager is to bring extensive working knowledge of Sage 50 to the sharp end of setting up, implementing and integrating the software and be the key custodian of the payroll systems.
Successful candidate will hold responsibility for the following:

  • Plan and oversee implementation of Accountancy system and policies.
  • Prepare, develop and analyse key financial information to ensure the management makes a well informed decision to safeguard future, stability, growth and profitability.
  • Liaising with management to ensure accounts are efficiently managed
  • Prepare budget and cash flow forecast.
  • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance;
  • Preparing timely and reliable management information report on a monthly basis.
  • Review and approve suppliers invoice
  • Management of payroll system.
  • Ensure financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. bankers, and statutory organisations such as pension regulator and Inland Revenue.
  • Lead and manage our newly established finance team.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal successful candidate would encompass the following:

  • Sage Accounting and Payroll Experience
  • Excel Skill (V Lookup)
  • Practice Accounting Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with evidence of CPD
  • Degree in related Discipline and professional Qualification

Role Description

Tasty African Foods is a fast growing African Food and Catering establishment with a current portfolio of 8 Branches across London. Due to this growth we are looking for a Health & Food Safety Manager to work across our 8 branches as well as potential new branches to open in 2014/15. Based out of the head office in Belvedere in South East London the successful candidate will hold responsibility for the following:

  • Maintaining date coding equipment, checking chemicals standards within food areas and assisting with microbiological sampling.
  • Using keen eye for detail, conduct regular audits of all food-related areas, ensuring they are in line with current legislative requirements and best practice.
  • Keeping up with all relevant changes in the food safety and hygiene field and advising the business of any necessary changes in a timely manner.
  • Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure that all Food Safety, Health & Safety policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
  • Keeping and maintaining records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements, including records of incidents and accidents
  • Conducting investigations and ensuring necessary actions are taken and communicated for safety compliance matters including customer complaints, accidents, and risk assessments.
  • Managing the food safety systems, amend and improve with changing legislation to ensure compliance.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal successful candidate would encompass the following:

  • Proven track record of working within the food retail or food manufacturing industry
  • Happy to travel to our sites throughout London and the surrounding areas
  • Be passionate about providing the highest level of Health & Food Safety standard.
  • Be an effective team player, but equally comfortable working with a degree of autonomy.
  • Understand the importance of good record-keeping, including due diligence records.Essentials of Food Hygiene documents and allegy records.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Be proactive and dedicated to work.
